We had the honor of welcoming illustrious visitors from South Africa, including Deputy Minister of Public Enterprises Kopeng Obed Bapela, a Member of Parliament. Our meeting was insightful, delving into Somaliland’s vast economic potential and the diverse investment opportunities available, particularly in key sectors such as banking, agriculture, and energy. We emphasized the strategic importance of Somaliland’s location for trade and highlighted the significant role of the Free Economic Zone in accessing East African markets. Additionally, we underscored the untapped potential of Somaliland’s burgeoning tourism sector. We eagerly anticipate the opportunity to further strengthen our bilateral ties and explore avenues for collaboration between our nations.
